Insure your smile

The cost of dentistry is astronomical these days, I recently paid hundreds of pounds for dental crown at a dentists in Reading, and decided enough was enough, and took out a dental insurance policy. Insurance is available to cover either just you, or you and your whole family. Prices differ depending on which company you go to, but mine cost me just £8 per month. Of course, the more you want the policy to cover, the more expensive it might be.

At £8 per month, my policy covers the basic, that is to say if I lose a tooth, chip a tooth or require dental attention in relation to dental hygiene or tooth care, the insurance will cover it. Furthermore, my insurance will provide porcelain dental materials as a pose to other less attractive options which could ruin a smile. If you’re going to take out dental insurance, which is more than advisable in the modern climate, doing a little bit of online research and comparing what’s available and a what cost could pay dividends. Without insurance, I’d worry about paying out for crowns or visits to the dentist which, frankly, I just can’t afford. In addition, if you have children then getting dental insurance for your whole family could be more than wise, given the exorbitant costs of private orthodontics.
